Dr Ali A Nejat
MD AMC FRACGP FAMAC

Dr Ali has been a GP for over 21 years. He obtained his medical degree from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He has practised in Australia since 2008.

He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs.

​

His interests are Preventive medicine, Skin cancer,  Travel and Acupuncture.

​

Dr Ali studied Acupuncture in 2009 at Monash University. He has practised acupuncture for 15 years.

​

He obtained his full fellowship from the Australian Medical Acupuncture College in 2013.

​

He started working as a skin cancer doctor in 2009. He has been in Skin cancer surgery practice for more than 15 years. In Toowoomba, he started his career specialising in skin cancer surgery, performing excisions, flap restoration, and skin grafts on intricate regions such the face, neck, scalp, and lower limbs. He moved his practice to Brisbane in 2013, where he treated a greater range of cases and gained more expertise in this crucial area, further honing histechniques.

Since 2009 he offers full body skin check, spot check, dermoscopy photography to monitor lesions and biopsy/excision in different areas if needed.

After moving to Melbourne in 2017, he has been practicing at Skin Cancer Northcote, where he offers the community complete skin cancer services. In addition, he had orthopaedic surgery training in Iran, which has improved his surgical skills and attention to details, especially with regard to functional and reconstructive results. In order to make sure his approach is up to date with the most recent developments in diagnosis and therapy, he has also taken courses in dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine.

 

He is dedicated to providing excellent, patient-centred care, with an emphasis on the clinical and cosmetic aspects of treating skin cancer. He haS a broad, flexible skill set from his experiences in a variety of healthcare settings, and he is still committed to improving patient outcomes and his career.

Dr Thiloma Gunasekare

MBBS, FRACGP

​

Dr Gunasekare graduated from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2006. She migrated to

Australia in 2010 with post-graduate experience in Mental Health and General Practice.

She started her work as a General Practitioner in regional Victoria in 2014 after working in

hospitals in Tasmania and Victoria. She is a fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners

(FRACGP). She enjoys every aspect of General Practice, especially Preventive Medicine,

Chronic Disease Management and Women's Health.

Our team of doctors takes care of women's health, Men's health, Children's health, and chronic disease management seven days a week in our local community.
